Pigment master batches for thermoplastics
Granulated solid dye-stuffs manufactured by mixing of polymer, disperser, technological additives and great many of pigments and dyes. Main advantages: capability of coloring in any colors immediately during production of articles; high coloring quality of articles produced on any standard equipment; absence of dust raising and contaminating of equipment and rooms; minimal amount of waste at transferring from one colors on another; friendly handling (dosing, mixing of master batch with colored), not requiring of high proficiency of the personnel.
Plaspolymer has developed and organized industrial production of a range of master batch types for coloring thermoplastic polymers - HDPE, LDPE, PP, polystyrene, HIPS, ABS, polyamides and other thermoplastics.
Available products:
- SAMCON polyethylene pigment master batches (TU 2243-030-00203521-97) to color LDPE and HDPE cable insulation. The coloring of PVC-insulation is also possible. They have high light and thermostability, no pigment migration into polymer, high dielectric properties and resistance to hydrophobic fillers. Normal concentration in unpigmented polyethylene 1-2 % depending on intensity of coloring. At present time we produce 7 basic colors: white, red, orange, green, blue, gray, brown and 4 additional colors: yellow, violet, rose-colored, black.

- SCP polyolefines based pigment master batches (TU 2243-025-00203521-97, Alt. No.1) to color injection molding, extrusion, film articles from LDPE, HDPE, PP The concentration in polymer melt (1-5%) depends on coloring intensity and article thickness. Range of colors is very wide - basic spectrum colors plus tens of shades and color tones, including of nacreous ones.

SCP-PE super master batches are certificated for contact with food-stuffs, manufacturing of children toys and consumer goods.
- SCP-PS super master batches and master batches (TU 2243-023-00203521-96) to color injection molded and extruded articles made of polystyrene of all types and styrene copolymers (ABS, styrene-methacrylat), contacting with food-stuffs, toys; technical parts as well as master batches with special effects (metal gloss, nacre, luminescent). Normal concentrations 0,5-3%.
- Granulated colored polymer compounds on basis of LDPE, PS and copolymers of gray, gray-beige, brown, red, blue and black color we deliver from warehouse.
We develop and sale also compounds with individual by customer required complex of properties (with thermo- and light stabilizers slip and antistatic additives etc.).
