Properties:
Colorless, octahedral crystals. Good soluble in hot water. On air almost do not effloresce, but easily lose crystal water at heating up. At temperature +95°Ñ melt in crystal water.
Applications:
- in a tanning industry as tanning agents;
- in a textile industry for dyeing and printing of fabrics;
- in pulp and paper industry in paper production;
- for treating of a potable and industrial water, clearing of a waste water;
- in galvanic productions for handling metal surfaces.
We can also produce ammonium, potash chrome, ammonium iron etc. alum.
