Anticorrosive varnishes
on the basis of dissoluble fluoropolymers
(TU 6-05-1884-80, with variations)
Fluoropolymer varnishes (LF-32ln-2, LF-42l) and fluoropolymer-epoxy varnishes (LFE-32lnc and LFE-42lc) are solutions of corresponded fluoropolymers (F-32ln, F-42l), epoxy resin (for fluoropolymer-epoxy varnishes) and hardener (added before the use) in mixture of organic solvents. The coatings obtained from this varnishes combine valuable technical properties of fluoropolymers such as high chemical resistance, weatherability and tropicability as well as elasticity, heat and frost resistance; good dielectric and antifriction properties; high adhesion to metals, glass-reinforced plastics, polymers, wood, gum, glass and other materials.
Properties of varnishes
| Operating temperatures | Properties | Application |
|---|---|---|
| Fluoropolymer varnish LF-32ln-2 | ||
| from -190°Ñ up to +150°Ñ (short time up to +200°Ñ ÷ +300°Ñ) |
|
Coatings with low water and moisture permeability, high dielectrical properties, resistance to aggressive media. Radio engineering: printed circuits and other elements protection; electrical engineering: corrosion protection. |
| Fluoropolymer epoxy varnish LFE-32lnc | ||
| from –60°Ñ up to +180°C |
|
Antifriction, antiadhesion, oxidation and weather resistant coatings, films, varnished clothes and articles withstanding long-lived effect of aggressive media and temperature overfall without essential variation of properties. Increased adhesion at low temperatures. |
| Fluoropolymer varnish LF-42l | ||
| from –190°Ñ up to +150°Ñ (short time up to +200 ÷ +300°Ñ) |
|
Coatings with excellent antifriction and antiadhesion properties, weatherability and oxidation resistance. |
| Fluoropolymer epoxy varnish LFE-42lc | ||
| from –60°Ñ up to +180°Ñ |
|
Coatings with excellent antifriction and antiadhesion properties, weatherability and oxidation resistance. |
Fluoropolymer varnishes are used also to fabricate different varnished clothes, enamels, compounded varnishes in mixture with other resins and find a use in optics.
The varnish are made by usual ways (paintbrush, dipping, aerial and airless pulverization etc.) on cleared from mud and rust surfaces, air-sand or chemically treated and unoiled by acetone or petrol.
To increase the adhesion coatings on basis of fluoropolymer varnishes can be heat treated (from +150°Ñ up to +270°Ñ) or deposits on epoxy, butyral phosphate grounds or coatings on basis of fluoropolymer-epoxy varnish. The fluoropolymer-epoxy varnishes can also be deposits on grounds.
If necessary more detailed procedures of coatings deposition may be granted to consumers.
