Fluoropolymer packing material (FUM)

FUM represents the shaped article from nonsintered 4D fluoropolymer, containing or not containing lubricant.

It is the braid of round or square section.

Applications:

• as packing material for different types threading and flanged connections;
• as chemically proof self-lubricating packings (in stationary connections) and sealing material in parts of shut-off accessory, pumps and different seals of the chemical equipment, pipelines;
• for sealing of different contact surfaces in the equipment of food and pharmaceutical industry.

Operating temperatures:

• From -60°Ñ up to +150°Ñ (grade Â)

Media pressures: up to 6,3 MPa.

Available products:

• FUM-B - for different aggressive media og general industrial type. Contains lubricant "Â".

FUM is made of the following profiles:

• round - diameter from 4 up to 8 mm, length not less than 2,0 m;
• square - from 3×3 mm up to 8×8 mm; length not less than 2,0 m.

Other profiles and dimensions are optionally possible.
