Accredited testing center

The youngest OAO Plastpolymer division — Testing Center exists since April 10, 2002. This day the organization FGU Test-St.-Petersburg has produced the Certificate of accrediting to Testing center created on the basis of Scientific Division of OAO Plastpolymer, thus having affirmed competence and high quality of check tests of polymers, articles from them and matters used in production of polymers.

OAO Plastpolymer's Testing Center carries out:

• Analysis of polymeric materials on conformity with actual standards, including definition of physical, mechanical, electric, rheological and other properties
  • melt flow index
  • yield strength
  • tensile strength and relative elongation at break
  • check resistance
  • Izod and Charpy impact strength
  • Vicat softening point
  • mold shrinkage
  • flexural strength
  • modulus of elasticity in flexure and in tension
  • surface gloss
• Analysis of polymer compositions, including regenerated products;
• Estimation polymeric materials and compositions performance;
• Analysis of raw materials under application of the GOST, TU etc. methods, including chromatographic, gravimetric, titrimetric, photometric and potentiometric methods of analysis.
• Working out of the analysis methods;
• Working out of the domestic and international standards and TU on polymeric materials;
• Arbitral trials;
• International ware nomenclature codification;
• Selection of domestic and foreign analogs on results of composition analysis of import materials and their physical and mechanical characteristics;
• Grant of international ASTM standards and their authentic translations;
• Tutoring of chemical industry specialists to polymers and row materials quality control methods.
